CentreStage Theatre proudly presents James and the Giant Peach, based on the acclaimed novel by Roald Dahl.
Adapted by David Wood and Directed by Mike Butler, James and the Giant Peach is brimming with great characters, big laughs and… did I mention a massive peach that flies?
We’d love for you to be a part of it!!!

SHOW DATES (6 Shows Total)
SATURDAYS AT 11AM AND 2PM
FEBRUARY 8, 15, 22
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will be held Saturday Mornings at CentreStage, Kentville with one other additional weekday evening to be determined once the cast is selected.
Saturday Rehearsals January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st
9am- 12 noon
The Saturday rehearsals will be full cast, unless noted, and the weekday rehearsals will be for smaller groups to do scene work, costume work, etc.
READTHROUGH
We will be having a script readthrough on MONDAY DECEMBER 16th, 2024, from 6-8:30 in the UPPER PERFORMANCE CENTRE and discussing schedules etc. Flag that evening!

WAKE IN THE WEST
Time for fun! We will be holding auditions for Wake in the West, an Irish comedy by Michael J Ginnelly. The play is set during the wake of Tom Healy, who has drank himself to death and now wishes his grave to be a watery one, by requesting cremation and the scattering of his ashes at sea. The comedy begins when a neighbour decides that Tom is not entitled to take it all with him. A hilarious Irish romp that guaranteed to have audiences giggling with delight!
This show will be running from February 28th to March 16th, with 9 performances.
Auditions will be by appointment, on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6-8pm, and on Saturday December 7th, from 1-3pm.
