CentreStage is going on strike, not really!  The Strike at Putney Church is a play by Eliza Jane Wilson based on the short story by L.M. Montgomery

It is 1922 in rural PEI. The women of Putney Church are outraged when the elders deny a famous female missionary the opportunity to speak in the church. The women retaliate by going on strike!

The play is directed by Mindy Vinqvist Tymchuk with Beth Irvine as stage manager. Charlotte Crouch is on lights and sounds. Elva Heyge is the producer.

The cast in order of appearance: Jason Rand, Mike Jorgensen, Alan Slipp, Grace Oleskevich, Caroline Leverett, Alix Boyachek, Cheryl Sellsted, Jenna Newcomb, Lauren Scott, Richard Richard, Darrell Doucette, Ben Zammit-Maempel.

The Strike at Putney Church  will be performed on November 8,9,10m, 15,16,22,23,24m,29,30, December 6,7.

Front of House opens at 6:45 pm for the evening performances and 1:15 pm for the matinees.

Tickets are: adults $15; seniors/students $12; children, age 12 and under, $5.
